Dublin, Ireland

Progress is being made, sort of. I spent most of the day hanging around the hostel, with a few brief walks to cool me off... may have to go for another before bed. Found some real Kleenex, hooray! Before that I had been subsisting on napkins & toilet paper; functional, but my nose kind of hates me. I think I should at least be functional enough for a walk over to Trinity College for some pictures, even if I can't make the Guinness or Jameson tours. Both of those in one day could be interesting.

Even the lotion on my nose burns... why would you use any sort of alcohol (cetyl, I think) along with something like aloe that's supposed to reduce burning?

Right now I'm really looking forward to Rome, if for no other reason than that the hostel is supposed to be in a quiet neighborhood. As nice as it is to be close to everything, it'll be even nicer to be able to to have a window open without being bombarded by the sounds of loud music/drunk people/lots of traffic. So now... time to read for a bit, and then (hopefully) sleep. Some of this fuckers are horribly inconsiderate, and make way more noise than necessary.
